Situated at sea level, Marseille is not listed amongst the top ten French skiing resorts. We are tempted to say: Not yet! Last week, "les Marseillais" simply ignored the statistics and declared the streets around the church of Nôtre Dame de la Garde to be slopes. What fun, even though it only lasted one day!
