ITER is moving into the public spotlight. In 2008, Agence ITER France (AIF) and the ITER Organization welcomed about 4000 visitors. With the activities on the construction site increasing, public attention will increase as well. "Since the beginning of this year, about 300 people have come to visit the site each week", says Sylvie André, in charge of Communications for AIF. "We are expecting to welcome about 8 000 visitors by the end of the year. And this is only the beginning!"
