Students from the International School of Manosque and exchange students from the European School of Parma — 52 students in all - visited the ITER site on 10 June. They were given a guided tour lead by the Director of Agence ITER France, François Gauché; Ivone Benfatto from ITER also gave some explanations in Italian. This site visit was succeeded by a Tore Supra visit. Two researchers from Institut de Recherche en Fusion Magnétique, Stéphane Vartanian and Gloria Falchetto gave them an introduction on the tokamak and the basics of fusion.
