On the 8 July, the Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté et Nucléaire, organised the ETSON summer school. During this occasion, European institutes (France, Belgium, germany, Tcheck republic) of Nuclear Safety organised gather to participate to visit and seminars. They visited CEA Cadarache and the ITER site and Carlos Alejaldre, Director of Safety and security gave them presentations of ITER. Two set of tours and presentations were organised involving 45 members of the Summer School.

On 6 July, twenty students from DELFT University; faculty of Technology, Mechanical, Maritime, and Materials in Netherlands, visited ITER. After a guided tour coordinated by Marina Bayle from Agence ITER France, M. Akko Maas from the Project Office at ITER gave them a introduction of the project and replied to questions in relations with their technical studies and interests. VM.

On the 8 July, the President of the Conseil Général des Hautes Alpes, Jean- Yves Dusserre accompanied by a delegation came to visit ITER. They were welcomed by Francois Gauché Director of Agence Iter France, who presented them the construction activities progress and Kaname Ikeda, Director-General of ITER Organization who gave them a presentation of the ITER project.

On 9 July, a visit to ITER was organised through the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille for 50 members of a Franco-Italian delegation in collaboration with Agence ITER France and ITER Organization.
