ITER Agreement Initialling Set for 24th May 2006

  

Ministers representing the seven ITER Parties will meet in Brussels on 24 May in the European Commission's Berlaymont building to initial the agreement that will establish the ITER fusion energy research project.

Journalists are welcome to attend the event from 10.30 on 24 May. This will cover:

  • Initialling ceremony (Schuman Room in the Berlaymont) with Research Ministers of the seven Parties.
  • Press conference with all ministers.
  • Individual press points of the Seven Parties.

After the event, a press release will be published on the website of the European Commission
