Having been closely involved with ITER since its inception, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) participates as official observer to the ITER Council meetings (read Newsline #108). This week, it was Yury Sokolov, the Deputy Director-General of the IAEA, who attended the extraordinary meeting of ITER's Governing Body.
