The snow veils the progress made, but the platform leveling is almost finished. By mid 2009 the excavation of the tokamak pit should commence. Meanwhile, the heavy scrapers are moving to the northern end of the site to prepare the ground for the construction of the permanent ITER Headquarters. << return to Newsline #65 |
