With the site levelling works almost finished, the 122 x 85 metre tokamak pit becomes visible. The soil around the pit has been piled up to platform level, while the pit itself was left at its original level. What is now merely a scar in the landscape will in the future be 20 metres deep. << return to Newsline #66 |
