The ITER Organization is staffed by men and women from all over the world who have come together to work on this global collaboration. From 500 end-2010, staff numbers are expected to reach 1,000 during the operational phase of the ITER project.

To plan, build and operate this complex project, a departmental structure has been put in place that is described below.
