Office of Communication

The Office of Communication promotes understanding, appreciation and support for ITER. Through effective and imaginative communication the office promotes ITER's mission to a wide range of audiences including the general public, press and media, educators, funding agencies and members of the local community. The Office also drives ITER's internal communication efforts.

The media is most welcome at ITER. The Office of Communication organizes one- to two-day visits for international journalists and television crews on a regular basis; these visits are the opportunity to receive the latest project updates, to visit the work site, and to meet directly with ITER managers, engineers and scientists. Please contact michel.claessens@iter.org if you are interested in visiting ITER.

The ITER Newsline is a weekly online publication that covers all the major developments in the global ITER project. Subscribe to Newsline to receive an update on project developments every Friday. The Office of Communication also sends out regular Press Releases covering the main events at ITER.
