Project Office (PRO)The Project Office works in direct support of the Principal Deputy Director-General of ITER, Norbert Holtkamp. The Technical Integration Division is responsible for design integration, configuration management, system analysis, system engineering and document control. The Nuclear Safety and Environment Division prepares all the safety files for the project and undertakes safety analysis and assessment. The Project Management Division is in charge of planning and scheduling, in-kind procurement management, and project controls. The Operations Section prepares for the commissioning and operation phases of the project. And finally, the External Coordination Section is responsible for the preparation of input to the ITER Council and for the relations with the Domestic Agencies. |
