The Participant Teams - one for each of the participants in negotiations - perform design work to establish the effect of site-specific adaptations that must be undertaken, or that would be desirable or advantageous, at a specific site. According to the sharing of their contributions to the project hardware, the appropriate Participant Team (in particular its industry) assist the International Team in the preparation of procurement documents. Especially for such items, the Participant Team also is carrying out any necessary preparatory manufacturing R&D.
