The place where any question can be asked

Myriam Jacobs

On Monday last week the ITER Local Commission for Information (CLI) was officially inaugurated. An independent body, the CLI will act as an interface between the ITER installation's operator and the local population.

"I see the CLI as an opportunity for mutual understanding," said ITER Director-General Kaname Ikeda in his welcoming address, "a place where any question can be asked and all answers will be provided."
