Sophie Carpentier

Sophie Carpentier
Sophie Carpentier joined ITER on 9 February 2009 as part of the Post-Doc Monaco Fellowship program. She will be working as a Post-doctoral Researcher on Plasma-Wall Interaction as part of the Department for Fusion Science and Technology.

Sophie previously worked at Tore Supra where she did a PhD on the study of heat flux deposition on Plasma Facing Components.

She and her husband live in Meyrargues and in her time off she runs, plays squash, and spends time with her family.
