Taiger Murphy
Taiger Murphy joined ITER on 2 February as Civil Engineering Technician — Steel and Concrete Structures within the Civil Construction and Sight Support department.

Before starting at ITER, Taiger worked for Evergreen Engineering on the design of silicon and energy projects, including solar and hydrogen power. Before that, he was involved with architectural and civil design of nuclear/environmental restoration projects such as Chernobyl NSC (Ukraine), and Hanford WTP (Washington, USA). Interested in aerospace and aviation, he worked on the construction management of McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas, USA), and the design of international airports in Larnaka/Paphos (Cyprus), and Curaçao (Netherlands Antilles).

Taiger, his wife, and their two young children live in Pierrevert.

He is looking forward to the day he will have spare time to enjoy alpine hiking, climbing, skiing and river sports once again. He is also eager to get back to his hobby of designing and building furniture.
