Management Assessors convene in Cadarache

This week, the Management Assessment Team chaired by Won Namkung, a physics professor from Korea specialized in accelerator physics and particle beam transport, convened in Cadarache for its first assessment this week. In its last meeting in June 2009, the ITER Council appointed an assessor to carry out a Management Assessment—which according to the ITER Agreement must be undertaken at least every two years—and established a Steering Committee for the Assessment.
