Barbara Calcagno

Barbara Calcagno

Barbara Calcagno officially joined ITER on 2 June, having worked as a subcontractor since 2007. Her new position is Design Engineer/Analyst for the Internal Components Division, Blanket Section in the Tokamak Department.

From 1999 to 2004, she worked at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland and then for CELLS (Consortium for the Exploitation of the Synchrotron Light Laboratory) in Barcelona, Spain in 2005 and 2006. From 2007 to the end of May, she worked for ASSYSTEM-France.

Barbara and her partner live in Saint Tulle, a small village close to Manosque. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing and travelling.
