Laurent Ferrand

Laurent Ferrand joined ITER on 6 April as Divertor Technical Officer within the Tokamak Department. He had already spent two years in fusion before coming to work for ITER. He participated in the qualification of JET's ITER-like wall with Raphael Mitteau and in the development of the Divertor with Mario Merola.

Laurent and his partner live in Aix-en-Provence. In his time off he plays squash and enjoys hiking and skiing. He also like reading and going to the cinema and the theatre.
