Women of ITER share their professional journeys

The personal stories and perspectives of women working at ITER were at the heart of an event held on Monday 9 March to mark International Women’s Day.

Seven women from the ITER workforce share their professional experiences on stage.

Seven women from the seven ITER Members shared their stories and career journeys, and reflected together on the role women play in advancing science and engineering. The event offered an inspiring moment of connection and appreciation, highlighting both the progress achieved and the collective commitment to building a future where talent and dedication can thrive without barriers.

Following the introduction of expanded recruitment and career-development policies, ITER has seen a notable increase in women applying for and joining the organization, alongside strong promotion and retention among women in professional roles.
