Learning (the) French

"The more we learn about the others," says Shawn Simpson in this week's Newsline video interview, "the more understanding we become." Shawn's job at the Agence Iter-France Welcome Office is to facilitate this understanding.

The French Intercultural program; the Multicultural Learning Groups; the Intercultural ITER Workshops are the tools that she uses.

So let's listen to Shawn's advice to those who arrive in France: learn French, because "it opens a door to a whole new world," and "be patient with yourself."
