Celebrating summer

Two community events were organized in the past week at ITER.
Just one day ahead of the summer solstice, ITER staff gathered for a summer luncheon party. It had been a busy week, with a meeting of the ITER Council, the lifting of a second "segment" of the vacuum vessel into the tokamak pit, and a semestrial all-staff meeting offering the opportunity to ask questions, and receive answers, about project status and plans for the future.
Des dizaines de participants à la Journée internationale du yoga sur le site d'ITER ont commencé la journée tôt. Organisé par le nouveau Consulat de l'Inde à Marseille, en coopération avec ITER Organization, l'événement a eu lieu avant le début de la journée de travail du lundi 23 juin.
