ITER Project Associates
The ITER Project Associate (IPA) scheme allows Home Institutes from the ITER Members to assign employees on technical as well as support activities to the ITER Organization. Through this scheme, Home Institute employees can contribute through their expertise to strengthening the international cooperation and integration between the ITER Organization and the Domestic Agencies/ITER Members.
The ITER Project Associate scheme is open to any Home Institute who has signed a Memorandum of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement (MoU/MoA) or a Cooperation Agreement with the ITER Organization defining areas of common interest. The ITER Project Associate(s) will perform activities for the ITER Organization for a period of time defined by an Implementing Agreement signed between the Home Institute and the ITER Organization.
As of 1 March 2025, all the proposals for ITER Project Associates’ expressions of interest shall be submitted through the Home Institute’s Agency portal in the digitalized platform – SAP SuccessFactors. Proposals received by email will not be considered.
New entities (not having yet assigned IPAs) interested in submitting proposal as a Home Institute shall contact @email for guidance.
The proposed ITER Project Associate(s) must be employed by the Home Institute at the time of submission of the proposal. Click for more detailed information on the ITER Project Associate Scheme.
ITER Project Associate opportunities are limited to nationals from countries participating in the ITER Project (People's Republic of China, the European Union, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, Switzerland and the United States).
