Château ITER
28 May 2013
Will it be full-bodied or lean? Hearty or perfumed? Mineral or fragrant? No one knows yet, for First Harvest, like First Plasma, is still years away. One thing is certain however: considering the diminutive size of the vineyard, Château ITER will be a cuvée reserved for a happy few.
Planting six rows of vines close to the ITER Headquarters' entrance was the idea of architect Tilman Richert (Rudy Ricciotti's deputy). Along with a selection of fruit trees (cherry, almond, fig and pear trees) they epitomize the traditional Provençal landscape, better and more accurately than the usual lavender and thyme.
