Steve Ployhar

7 Aug 2009 - Iris Rona

Steve Ployhar joined ITER on 18 June as Senior Cooling Water System Engineer within the CEP Department. Before coming to ITER he worked in the United States on the Yucca Mountain Project in Las Vegas, Nevada on the design of facilities and equipment for disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high-level waste in an underground repository.

Steve, his wife Maria, and their 5 year old son Michael are in the process of settling in the Manosque area. Steve enjoys sailing and hiking, Maria enjoys gardening and website design, and Michael likes LEGOs and bugs.
