2011-06-07 - On the north side of the building, there are five unloading docks and one mega door (6m x 6m). Due to the slope of the access road (max 8%), the warehouse isn't designed for ITER's largest and heaviest components.

2011-06-07 - The architect that designed the ITER Headquarters building, Rudy Ricciotti, is also behind the design of ITER's largest storage warehouse. The two buildings share a few features such as linear cladding (horizontal for the warehouse, vertical for Headquarters) and colour. The ventilation shafts leaving the building serve the HVAC system.
2015-06-26 - The area around the warehouse will be fenced. The zone is also equipped with a guardhouse (foreground), a parking lot, a storm basin sized for centennial rains (+20%) and a garage for six fork lifts. Activity will commence in the building early next year.
