Kudowa Summer School

The Kudowa Summer School "Towards Fusion Energy" takes place every two years in Kudowa Zdrój, Poland.

Organised by the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion (IPPLM), in co-organisation with the COST Action CA21128 PROBONO, the summer program is geared toward a multinational audience, principally PhD students but also Master's students and young scientists from all over Europe.

Immerse yourself in a comprehensive exploration of plasma physics research, including:

  • Basic plasma and fusion energy
  • Laser plasma physics
  • Magnetic and Inertial Confinement Fusion
  • Tokamaks, stellarators and Z-pinches
  • Proton boron fusion and applications
  • Plasma diagnostics and technology
  • Space plasma and electric propulsion

The next School will take place from 8 to 12 June 2026. See this page or this page for all information and deadlines.
