First toroidal field conductor samples take to sea

As the ITER Project enters the manufacturing era, things will be changing, and so will the content of articles and videos published in Newsline. Watch this short video clip about the first components for ITER's toroidal field superconductors that were shipped from the Nippon Steel Engineering site in Wakamatsu on the southernmost Japanese island of Kyushu, to the Toshiba Corporation facility in Yokohama.

Special thanks to Masayuki Oshikiri from the Japanese Domestic Agency for providing the footage and to Matt Jewell, Monaco Fellow and in charge of the ITER Conductor Database, for providing valuable information (and his voice).
