Jean-Pierre Friconneau

On June 2nd Jean-Pierre Friconneau joined ITER as a Remote Handling Mechanical and Systems Engineer in the Tokamak Department. Jean-Pierre, who was born and raised in Manosque, studied Mechanical and Robotics Engineering in Nantes, France. He then joined and finally led the robotics laboratory at CEA Fontenay-aux-Roses from 1991 to 2008, and now returns to his roots in Manosque with his wife and two daughters of 9 and 13 years old.
