François Sagot
François Sagot joined ITER on 17 March as Technical Officer for RAMI (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Inspectability) in the Project Office / Operations Section.

Coming from the manufacturing of safes and vaults, he discovered fusion in 2007 at the Tore Supra Tokamak here in Cadarache, and then worked as a subcontractor for ITER for eight months prior to becoming a staff member.

Francois and his cat live in Manosque and when he is off work he enjoys hiking, driving classic cars and reading about military history and technology.
