Inside ITER—The Tokamak

It is going to be the biggest fusion furnace ever built—the ITER Tokamak. Last week, Gary Johnson, Deputy Director-General of the ITER Tokamak Department, introduced the main features of the ITER machine to the staff during the second internal "Inside ITER" presentation. "Inside ITER" was introduced in March this year as a way to inform the growing numbers of ITER staff members—a large percentage of which are non-scientists—about what is happening in ITER.
